TEN Committees

Institute Planning

Chair: David Osman

Co-Chair: Kenya 

The Institute Planning Committee plans, implements, and evaluates the annual meeting. The committee is made up of board members and general membership. Planning begins in the summer and the meeting is typically held in the spring. Meeting times are set based on general availability and adjusted as needed.

Professional Development

Chair: Sarah Bluebonnet

The Professional Development Committee plans the Power Hours and other engagements for membership. The committee is made up of board members and general membership. Meeting cadence varies based on events.

Membership

Chair: Christina Tuell 

The Membership Committee reviews and revises current practices and communications for membership, including the website. The committee is made up of board members and general membership. This committee meets every other month.

Nominations

Chair: David Osman

The Nominations Committee supports the annual board nominations process =, including posting the openings, recruiting candidates, and interviewing.  The committee is chaired by the Vice President and made up of only current board members. This committee is most active January - August.

2025-26 Ad Hoc Administrative Support - Created during the August 2025 annual board meeting - the primary purpose of this committee is to develop and identify an administrative support role for the board.

2025-26 Ad Hoc Fundraising and Financial Support - Created during the August 2025 annual board meeting - the primary purpose of this committee is to explore the fundraising and financial needs of TEN. To join: rwilliams_903@msn.com

2025-26 Ad Hoc Strategic Planning Committee - This ad hoc committee was created to begin the strategic planning process for 2028-2032. Current strategic plan ends 2027.
